Prolabin & Tefarm S.r.l. has recently collaborated on research focused on the development of 𝐡𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬.

The results of the study were published in the journal 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 (Elsevier), through the article:

In collaboration with the University of Perugia (Departments of Medicine and Surgery, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Chemistry, Biology and Biotechnology), a 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀 𝐁𝐓𝐊 𝐁𝐂𝐏 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐃𝐇 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐝 was developed, capable of inhibiting osteoclast formation in vitro.

The 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 combines 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, offering potential applications in the 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬 and in 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲.
